Website operator and scope

This website presents the software projects and professional services of PGSTY PTE. LTD., a Singapore company. Contact us at [email protected] about these terms or a proposed engagement.

This page explains the website and our procurement process. The quotation, order, scope of work, or service agreement accepted for a specific engagement sets out its commercial terms. A website enquiry alone does not create a paid service engagement.

Services and quotations

Our commercial work includes PostgreSQL consulting, implementation, migration planning, performance diagnosis, observability, and technical support for Pigsty and related open-source infrastructure.

Published service descriptions and prices help you evaluate the available options. The written quotation or order identifies the selected service, currency, fees, applicable taxes, payment schedule, service period, and any customer requirements. Confirm these details before accepting an order or making payment.

Support coverage, response targets, project schedules, and acceptance criteria apply only as specified for the selected service and in the relevant written agreement. Public project resources do not by themselves include a commercial support commitment.

Ordering and payment

Start by sending a project enquiry through the contact page. We discuss requirements and provide a written proposal where the work is a fit. The contracting entity and payment instructions are stated in the agreement or invoice.

This website does not offer a card checkout. Do not send payment card details by email. If you receive changed payment instructions, verify them through an established contact before paying.

Delivery and acceptance

Professional services are delivered remotely unless the written agreement specifies another arrangement. Depending on the scope, deliverables may include technical advice, architecture recommendations, configuration work, migration assistance, operational documentation, or access to an agreed support channel.

The proposal or agreement defines the delivery schedule, required customer access or input, and how work will be reviewed and accepted. Customers should report a deliverable that does not match the agreed scope through the project contact so it can be assessed and addressed under that agreement. A change in scope, environment, or dependencies may require a revised schedule or quote.

Open-source software downloads are governed separately by the licenses and release information provided with each project.

Cancellation and refunds

To request cancellation, rescheduling, or a refund, email [email protected] with your company name, quotation or invoice reference, the service concerned, and the reason for the request.

Cancellation and refund eligibility depend on the accepted quotation or service agreement, including the work already performed, any committed costs, and the applicable service period. The proposal or agreement should specify the applicable cancellation charges and how any refundable amount is determined before payment is made.

If a service cannot be delivered as agreed, contact us to discuss the appropriate next steps under the agreement, which may include a revised delivery plan, cancellation, or a refund for the relevant undelivered work. Applicable statutory rights are unaffected.

Customer systems and confidential information

Access to customer systems, handling of confidential information, and any data protection requirements are agreed for the engagement. Customers should provide only the access and information needed for the authorised work. Changes to production systems, backup responsibilities, and operational handover should be included in the agreed scope where relevant.

Open-source licenses and third-party names

Each software project is provided under its own published license. A paid service does not replace or change the applicable open-source license. Please consult the relevant repository for license terms and notices.

References to PostgreSQL, third-party software, companies, and platforms describe the technologies or background involved. They do not imply endorsement or a partnership unless explicitly stated.

Website information and privacy

We update website content as products and services develop. Before relying on a version number, supported configuration, or service description for a purchase, confirm it against the current project documentation and your written proposal.

Information handling on this website and in business enquiries is described in the privacy notice. Questions and concerns can be sent to [email protected].
