## Core software projects

- **[Pigsty](https://pigsty.io/)** — A complete PostgreSQL deployment, with high availability, backup and recovery, monitoring, and extensions. Run it on infrastructure you control. Apache-2.0. [Source](https://github.com/pgsty/pigsty).
- **[Silo](https://silo.pgsty.com/)** — S3-compatible object storage, maintained as a fork of MinIO. Store and manage your data with an open-source server, client, and console. AGPL-3.0. [Source](https://github.com/pgsty/silo).
- **[PIG](https://pig.pgsty.com/)** — Install PostgreSQL and extensions via system package managers. Apache-2.0. [Source](https://github.com/pgsty/pig).
- **[Barn](https://barn.pgsty.com/)** — Create local lightweight VMs for development and database testing. Apache-2.0. [Source](https://github.com/pgsty/barn).
- **[SOW](https://sow.pgsty.com/)** — Build and publish private APT and YUM repositories. Apache-2.0. [Source](https://github.com/pgsty/sow).
- **[PG Exporter](https://exp.pgsty.com/)** — Collect metrics from PostgreSQL and PgBouncer for Prometheus. Apache-2.0. [Source](https://github.com/pgsty/pg_exporter).

## Extensions and developer tools

- **[pgs3](https://github.com/pgsty/pgs3)** — S3-compatible object storage inside PostgreSQL, keeping objects and metadata in the database. An early alpha project for evaluation.
- **[pgwasm](https://github.com/pgsty/pgwasm)** — Run WebAssembly components inside PostgreSQL and expose them as typed SQL functions. Our fork follows the upstream pgwasm project.
- **[pgnls](https://github.com/pgsty/pgnls)** — Chinese translations of PostgreSQL server messages and command-line tools, with tooling to maintain and review localization work.
- **[pgext](https://pgext.cloud/)** — An extension catalog and metadata pipeline for finding PostgreSQL extensions, supported versions, and available packages.
- **[Capslock](https://github.com/Vonng/Capslock)** — Keyboard configurations that turn Caps Lock into a modifier for navigation, window control, and developer shortcuts on macOS.

## Shared resources

- **[PGSTY Repository](https://pigsty.io/docs/repo/)** — PostgreSQL and extension Linux packages with APT and YUM repos.
- **[PostgreSQL in Chinese](https://pgsql.cc/docs/)** — Full-text searchable Chinese PostgreSQL manuals across versions.
- **[PG.CENTER](https://pg.center/)** — English PostgreSQL manuals, version comparisons, and references.
- **[PostgreSQL Knowledge Graph](https://pg.center/wiki/)** — Connected references for SQL, parameters, functions, and catalogs.
- **[PGEXT.CLOUD](https://pgext.cloud/)** — Extension catalog with compatibility checks and package availability.
- **[OINK Documentation Theme](https://oink.pgsty.com/)** — A local-first Hugo theme for technical documentation and developer sites.

## Software you can inspect and evaluate

PGSTY develops and maintains software for PostgreSQL deployment, object storage, package management, monitoring, repository publishing, and local testing. We also contribute to extension and developer tool projects. The links above lead to their source code and documentation.

Start with the relevant project documentation for installation requirements, supported platforms, and releases. For a production deployment, [our professional services](/services/) can help with assessment, implementation, and operational handover.

## Project licences and commercial support

Licences vary by project: Pigsty, PIG, pg_exporter, SOW, Barn, and OINK use Apache-2.0; Silo uses AGPL-3.0; pgwasm uses BSD-3-Clause. Contributions, translations, and dependencies retain their applicable terms. Refer to each repository's licence file for details.

Public documentation, releases, and community discussions are available through the project links. Commercial support is a separate engagement with an agreed scope; availability of open-source software does not create a support or service-level commitment.
