PGSTY PTE. LTD. is the company behind Pigsty. It maintains the open-source
distribution, its package and observability tooling, and public PostgreSQL
infrastructure while providing subscriptions and expert services worldwide.

## Deliberately small

PGSTY is a one-engineer company by design. Product decisions, implementation,
and support remain under one pair of eyes, so customers reach the person who
writes and operates the software instead of moving through support tiers.

## Public infrastructure

The company keeps its package repositories, extension catalog, documentation,
translations, and live demos openly available. Commercial work pays for the
assurance and expertise around the same open stack; it does not place the core
software behind a proprietary gate.

The name expands to **PostgreSQL In Great STYle**. The missing lowercase *i* is
intentional: the infrastructure is given away, while customers pay for the
people and guarantees around it.
